FAQ - boudoir and fine nude art photoshoots
Can anyone do a nude photoshoot or are there requirements that must be met?
Basically, any woman can do a nude photoshoot with me. There are only a few basic requirements: You must be older than 18 years old and you should be at least a little satisfied with yourself and your appearance. Of course, not 100% (nobody is). A photoshoot will give you more self-confidence, and you will literally see yourself in a new light. But you will not be portrayed as a different person in the photos. If you want to look 12 kg lighter, 12 cm taller, and 12 years younger in your photos, Photoshop might be able to do that, but that is not my understanding of photography. Minor adjustments to body shapes and skin appearance are possible, with sensitivity and without fundamentally changing your look. You do not need model measurements. With the right lighting, pose, and a favourable perspective, photos that will surprise you will be created even without Photoshop. Therefore, you also do not need to have experience with photoshoots. Most of my clients have never had a professional photoshoot. I will suggest and explain every pose to you. You cannot do anything wrong.
Why do you only photograph women and not men?
If you want to be truly excellent at something, specialisation is necessary. Just as a men's hairdresser does not offer women's hairstyles and vice versa. As an artist, I see many more possibilities in women to stage individual beauty. Of course, I could photograph men too - but the photographic results would then be more standard and would probably not particularly excite the person photographed or me.
Why do you only photograph nudity?
I photograph nude people because the skin is our most honest, natural, and personal clothing. Without fabric and accessories, only the person themselves remains – pure, unvarnished, and authentic. Clothing can become a disguise, but in the end, what counts is who we are beyond facade and status symbols. Nude photography reduces things to the essential: It shows timeless and unadulterated true beauty – free from fashion and trends.
What does your partner say about you photographing nude women?
At first glance, I can understand why people ask that. But honestly: There are so many professions that deal with nude people – no one would ask a dermatologist this question. So why a nude photographer? My partner and I have been together for almost 20 years. I am a professional artist and have photographed about 1,500 nude women so far – and that's precisely why she is completely relaxed.
May I use your photos on escort sites, massage studio websites, or platforms like OnlyFans?
No. I do not offer this use. The platforms are known and are automatically monitored. Violations are prosecuted (compensation, cease and desist declaration, etc.), reported to the public prosecutor's office, and notified to the portal operators, who then delete the photos and suspend the associated account. The legal costs are borne in full by the copyright infringer.
Where can I be photographed by you (cities, locations, at home, hotel room, outdoor...)?
Anywhere in the world. My photo studio in Bochum (Ruhr area, central Germany) will most likely offer you the best and most diverse possibilities. With 11 sets on 360 sqm, including a rain studio and modern lighting technology, everything is optimally set up for a nude photoshoot here. Especially if you are not a professional model. However, I can also stage you in another location. For this, we need a special location (no home shooting and no shooting in a simple hotel room) or we shoot outdoors in nature. I am happy to select suitable outdoor locations. In addition to the base shooting price and the price for the photos, reimbursement of my travel expenses (time, transport, and accommodation) will also be incurred. Please note that for a hotel shoot, you generally need the hotel operator's permission to do a photoshoot there.

I am still unsure - can we meet or talk on the phone?
I understand that a nude shoot is a very special experience and many thoughts and questions naturally arise. Unfortunately, my time does not allow me to answer all of this for every interested person individually in a phone call or meeting. Please look around here first. You will find the answers to all the usual questions related to a nude shoot here on my website. I couldn't tell you anything different in a phone call or personal meeting. Also, look at the experiences of my customers. Afterward, there will probably be no more open questions. If there are, just send me an email and I will get back to you immediately.
My cellulite bothers me - can I still get beautiful photos?
Absolutely. There are many ways to ensure that cellulite is no longer distracting in your photos. With the right lighting, pose, and perspective, cellulite will not look like it does in the unflattering "light of a changing room" even during the photoshoot. Furthermore, it can also be covered up with stockings and lingerie.
How far in advance should I book an appointment?
This fluctuates greatly and depends on your flexibility. The earlier you inquire, the more certain you will be to get your desired date. Short-term appointments (within 2 weeks) are very rarely possible (only if another client had to cancel or as a special appointment on a Sunday). There is no waiting list on which you can register without obligation, as cancellations are very rare and, if they occur, are so short-notice (less than 24 hours beforehand) that it is hardly possible to step in. Appointment bookings are only possible on a binding basis (deposit). I do not offer non-binding reservations.
I am a very natural type and do not really wear makeup. Should I still book a styling session?
My makeup artist offers a very subtle styling on request. Every step is coordinated with you so that you will not feel foreign to yourself. A styling session is a nice introduction to the shooting day and helps you to feel comfortable quickly. The look, which is matched to the flash light, is also very advantageous for the photos. Of course, you are free to book a styling session.
May I bring an accompanying person?
In principle yes, but experience shows that it is better to participate in the photoshoot without an accompanying person. On the one hand, you can concentrate better on the shoot, and on the other hand, a shooting day usually gets boring for an accompanying person eventually. If you still want to, your companion can stay in the open styling/break area near the sets, but not in the photo backdrops, so that you and I can work undisturbed. TIP for accompanying persons: The RUHR-PARK in Dortmund, only 5 minutes away, offers many ways to spend the day - for example with cinema, shopping, gastronomy, and wellness.
What time should I arrive?
The photoshoot day starts at 9:00 a.m. with the styling, which lasts about 1 to 1.5 hours. If you arrive a little earlier, that is not a problem. If you arrive late, that time will be deducted from your styling time, as the makeup artist has subsequent appointments and unfortunately cannot extend the time.
How long does the photoshoot last?
Every shoot is individual, so it is impossible to say exactly how long it takes. Including the image discussion/selection, you should allow for 8 to 10 hours.
Can I also only be photographed in lingerie?
Yes, you can also do a pure lingerie photoshoot. How much skin you show is, of course, up to you. It makes no difference to me.
Do you have lingerie or high heels in your studio that I can use for the shoot?
For hygienic reasons, I do not offer lingerie. Disinfected high heels in sizes 36 to 42 in various shapes and colours are available here. Also, other props such as blindfolds, handcuffs/ankle restraints, ropes, rose petals, etc.
What should I bring? How can I prepare?
After the confirmed booking and receipt of your deposit, you will receive a "packing list," directions, and tips for preparing for your nude photoshoot.
What if I have pimples or bruises exactly on the day of the shoot?
Whether pimples and bruises are visible in the photo depends on the light and the perspective. If they are visibly distracting, they will be removed later with Photoshop. If you have scars, you decide what should happen to them. Basically, you can leave them as they are (they belong to you), soften them (no longer so strongly visible), or remove them completely. We will discuss this based on the photos you ultimately selected. If you want very large scars to be completely removed from your photos, I ask you to clarify with me beforehand to what extent this is possible.
How does a nude photoshoot proceed?

What resolution are my nude photos?
The photos are taken with a very high resolution of 45.7 megapixels. You will receive the selected photos in full resolution. Format: jpg. This is also sufficient for large-format prints, for example, as a canvas print in the format 3 x 2 metres.
How will I receive my photos later?
After image processing, you will receive the purchased photos as a password-protected download, so that you can conveniently order prints, canvas prints, photo books, etc., online from any (online) photo printing service.
How long do I have to wait to receive my edited photos?
Within just a few working days after your shoot, your photos will be edited and ready for download.
Can I also get the unedited photos from the shoot?
Only carefully edited photographs are delivered. Raw material is not handed over – comparable to a restaurant not serving an incompletely prepared dish. Quality over quantity.
Do you also offer the design of a photo book or nude calendar?
The design of a nude photo album or nude calendar is very dependent on personal taste and is most fun, by the way, when you do it yourself. This is very easy to do with free software and just a few clicks. I would be happy to recommend a provider to you.
Will my photos be shown to other people, published on the internet, or anything similar?
Your photos are treated with absolute confidentiality. No one but you will be given access to the photos. Unless you and I have expressly agreed otherwise in writing with a separate release contract.
What if I am sick on the day of the shoot or cannot attend for another reason?
Your deposit will be forfeited if you are unable to keep the appointment. Why? Here you can find all the information.
Who does the photoshoot and the image editing?
Both are carried out personally by me. I do not use employees, interns, trainees, or external image editing agencies.
Are other people present during the photoshoot?
The stylist leaves the photo studio after her work. No other people will be present (except for a possible accompanying person: see above).
May I bring animals to the shoot?
Yes, if they are also to be part of the photos. However, only after prior arrangement.
I do not speak German, can we still do a photoshoot?
I have had the pleasure of welcoming many clients from abroad here in my studio and have done some shoots abroad. If you can speak a little English, we will be able to do a photoshoot without any problems. I speak English and understand Dutch quite well.
