Now you probably want to know who is behind the camera - especially during such a personal photo shoot.
Okay, I'll try to introduce myself briefly…
I'm Kristian Liebrand: an artist by passion, self-taught, free spirit, and curious about the beauty of people. Since 2008, I've specialized in boudoir and nude photography of women, and I love capturing real moments and beauty, making you shine - all without Photoshop magic (okay, maybe a little).
I've been fortunate enough to receive over 80 international awards and showcase my work globally in galleries, photo books, and magazines. Sounds impressive? Maybe. But behind the camera, I'm just a relaxed guy who makes jokes while looking for the perfect light.
When I'm not behind the camera, you can often find me engaging in sports or traveling in my camper van - especially in the Netherlands, which I never get enough of. A weekend in Amsterdam for culture or by the sea to unwind? Always happy to. I love nature, try to live as environmentally conscious as possible, and plant ten trees for every shoot. Thanks to my projects, over 15,000 trees have grown - a small contribution to making the world a bit greener and giving back to the earth what it gives us.
As a self-taught photographer, I can fully follow my own style. No rigid rules, but creative freedom - technical perfection is not the top priority, authenticity is. A truly good photo tells a story and evokes emotions. The image is created in the mind, not in the camera or in Photoshop.
During the shoot itself: nice and relaxed. I'll show you each pose step by step and explain everything, I won't overwhelm you, and I'll always make sure you look your best. Even if I sometimes do poses that are less flattering for me as a man, just so you look better. But hey, when we laugh together, the most beautiful photos are created. Ultimately, I want you to take home not only beautiful photos but also an experience - including an extra dose of self-confidence and a satisfied smile.
P.S.: Taking these photos of myself was the biggest challenge as a photographer. But you need to know what I look like, of course. This is the result of a lot of patience and even more failed attempts - believe me, your photos will definitely turn out much better.
